Fireworks Bible Privacy Policy
Fireworks Bible, LLC, an Ohio limited liability company
Effective Date: November 1, 2026
Version: 1.0
This Privacy Policy explains how Fireworks Bible, LLC collects, uses, discloses and retains personal information in connection with the website at fireworksbible.com, the application at app.fireworksbible.com, any Fireworks Bible mobile application for Apple or Android devices, and every related feature and service. It is incorporated into the Fireworks Bible Terms of Use.
Read Section 5 carefully. It explains that Fireworks Bible records every request made to the Service and uses automated systems to detect and act on conduct that violates the Terms of Use.
1. Who We Are and Where We Operate
1.1 Fireworks Bible, LLC is an Ohio limited liability company and is the controller of the personal information described in this Policy.
1.2 The Service is offered in the United States and is intended for users located in the United States. Personal information is processed and stored in the United States.
2. Age
2.1 The Service is for adults. You must be at least eighteen years old to hold an account.
2.2 Fireworks Bible does not knowingly collect personal information from any person under eighteen. If Fireworks Bible learns that it has collected personal information from a person under eighteen, it will delete that information and terminate the account. If you believe a person under eighteen has provided personal information, contact Fireworks Bible at the address in Section 17.
2.3 Because the Service is restricted to adults, Fireworks Bible does not knowingly sell, share or process the personal information of any minor, and does not use personal information for targeted advertising to any minor.
3. Information We Collect
3.1 Information you provide
(a) Account information, including your email address, any display name you choose, and the information you submit when you request an account.
(b) Content you submit, including product submissions, photographs, videos, observed prices, store reports, shelf price reports, brand scores, ratings and scores, reviews, comments, community posts, shopping lists, inventory records, and shows you build and share.
(c) Receipts and purchase records you upload, and the product, price, quantity, date and store information contained in them.
(d) Communications you send, including support requests, catalog requests, feedback and correspondence.
(e) Payment information you enter when you purchase a Full Plan. Payment card numbers are collected and processed by our payment processor, Stripe, Inc. Fireworks Bible does not receive or store full payment card numbers. Stripe also collects the billing details it needs to calculate sales tax.
3.2 Information collected automatically
(a) Request and usage records, including the account and session making each request, the date and time, the internet protocol address, the catalog records disclosed, the volume disclosed, the features used, and any limit, warning, refusal or suspension applied.
(b) Device and client information, including device type, operating system, browser type and version, language, screen characteristics and application version.
(c) Device location, only if you turn on the distance filter in the community feed. Your browser gives your device's location to the application, which uses it on your device to work out distances. It is not sent to or stored by Fireworks Bible. You control device location through your device settings.
(d) Authentication records, including sign-in code issuance, sign-in attempts, outcomes and session activity.
(e) Information collected through cookies and similar technologies, described in Section 7.
(f) We count, in total and never by person, how often products, videos, 3D previews and store links are viewed or used in the app, and how often products are added to shopping lists, marked purchased or marked as favorites, and share those totals with the stores and manufacturers listed.
3.3 Information from other sources
(a) Confirmation of payment, subscription status and limited transaction details from our payment processor.
(b) Delivery, bounce and engagement information from our email provider.
(c) Information from security and infrastructure providers relating to abuse, bot activity and network threats.
(d) Aggregate visit statistics for the marketing website from Google Analytics.
4. How We Use Information
Fireworks Bible uses personal information to:
(a) create and administer your account, authenticate you and keep you signed in;
(b) provide the Service and its features, including search, comparison, shopping lists, inventory, receipt import, the Show Builder, community features and store listings;
(c) process payments, manage subscriptions, send billing and renewal notices, and prevent payment fraud;
(d) operate, secure, monitor, test, troubleshoot and improve the Service;
(e) detect, investigate, prevent and act on conduct that violates the Terms of Use or the law, as described in Section 5;
(f) establish, exercise and defend legal claims, and enforce our agreements and rights;
(g) send service messages, security alerts, and notices about changes to our terms or policies;
(h) send marketing messages about Fireworks Bible, from which you may unsubscribe at any time;
(i) analyze usage in aggregate to understand how the Service is used and what to build next; and
(j) comply with law, legal process and lawful requests from public authorities.
Fireworks Bible may create de-identified and aggregated information from personal information and may use and disclose that information for any lawful purpose. It will maintain and use that information in de-identified form and will not attempt to re-identify it, except to test the effectiveness of its de-identification.
5. Monitoring, Security and Enforcement
5.1 The catalog is the product Fireworks Bible sells, and unauthorized extraction of it is the principal risk to the business. To protect the Service, Fireworks Bible records information about every request made to it, including the account, the session, the date and time, the internet protocol address, the device and client, and the catalog records and volume disclosed.
5.2 Fireworks Bible uses automated systems to analyze those records and to identify patterns consistent with prohibited conduct, including abnormal request volume, indications of automated collection, coordinated activity across accounts, sharing of credentials, and evasion of access limits.
5.3 Fireworks Bible uses provenance and attribution techniques within catalog content and within exports so that copied material can be traced to the account that received it.
5.4 Fireworks Bible does not publish the thresholds, indicators, detection methods, marker identifiers or other specifics of these measures, because publishing them would defeat them. This Policy describes the categories of information collected and the purposes for which it is used, which is what it is required to describe.
5.5 Where these systems identify a material risk, access to an account may be slowed, limited or suspended automatically before a person has reviewed the matter. Where a suspension is applied, Fireworks Bible will notify the account holder promptly where doing so is reasonably practicable and would not impair security or an investigation, will state a concise reason and a reference number, and will provide a method to request review by a person. Fireworks Bible will review information submitted through that method and will restore access if it determines that the risk has been resolved.
5.6 If you are in a state whose law gives you the right to opt out of profiling that produces legal or similarly significant effects, that right does not extend to processing that is necessary to detect security incidents, protect against malicious or fraudulent activity, or enforce our agreements. You may always request human review of a suspension under Section 5.5.
5.7 Fireworks Bible retains the records described in this Section as evidence. Section 8 explains how that affects deletion requests.
6. How We Disclose Information
6.1 Fireworks Bible does not sell personal information. Fireworks Bible does not share personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising or targeted advertising, and has not done so in the twelve months preceding the effective date of this Policy.
6.2 Fireworks Bible discloses personal information to:
(a) Service providers that perform functions on its behalf under contract: Cloudflare, Inc. (hosting, network security, bot protection, and video hosting and delivery); Resend (delivery of sign-in codes and account email); Stripe, Inc. (payment processing, subscription billing and sales tax calculation); Anthropic, PBC (reading receipts and order documents that you choose to import); and Google LLC (aggregate visit statistics for the marketing website). These providers may use the information only to perform those functions for Fireworks Bible, and each is also bound by its own terms and privacy policy.
(b) Other users, where you direct it. Content you post to community features, product and store submissions you contribute, and shows you share by link are visible to others as the Service describes. Do not post anything you do not want to be public.
(c) Professional advisors, including lawyers, auditors and insurers, under obligations of confidentiality.
(d) Law enforcement, regulators, courts and other parties where Fireworks Bible reasonably believes disclosure is necessary to comply with law or legal process, to enforce the Terms of Use, to investigate suspected prohibited conduct, or to protect the rights, property or safety of Fireworks Bible or any person.
(e) A counterparty in a merger, acquisition, financing, reorganization, bankruptcy or sale of assets, in which case personal information may be transferred as a business asset, subject to this Policy or a successor policy.
6.3 Fireworks Bible may disclose de-identified and aggregated information without restriction.
7. Cookies and Similar Technologies
7.1 The marketing website sets one cookie, from Google Analytics, to count visits and see which pages are read. Google Signals and ad personalization are turned off for that property. The application does not use cookies. It stores your session token, your favorites and a small queue of changes waiting to sync in your browser's local storage on your device, so that it works, including offline.
7.2 Fireworks Bible does not use cookies or similar technologies for cross-context behavioral advertising.
7.3 You can control cookies through your browser settings. Blocking the local storage that the application requires will prevent you from signing in and using the Service.
7.4 Fireworks Bible honors the Global Privacy Control signal where applicable law requires it. Because Fireworks Bible does not sell or share personal information, that signal does not change how your information is handled.
8. Retention
8.1 Fireworks Bible retains personal information for as long as necessary for the purposes described in this Policy, and for as long as required or permitted by law.
8.2 The general retention periods are:
(a) Account information: for the life of the account, and for twelve months after the account is closed.
(b) Content you submitted that has been published as part of the catalog: indefinitely, because it forms part of the catalog other users rely on. Content you submitted that has not been published: for twelve months after the account is closed.
(c) Request and usage records, authentication records, limit and suspension records, and provenance and export records: for twenty four months, because these records are the evidence on which enforcement of the Terms of Use depends.
(d) Billing and transaction records: for the period required by tax and accounting law, which is at least seven years.
(e) Support and other communications: for three years.
(f) Acceptance records, including the version of the Terms of Use you accepted, when you accepted it, and your consent to renewal terms: for the same period as the enforcement records in paragraph (c), because they are evidence of the agreement.
8.3 Fireworks Bible will retain personal information beyond these periods where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend a legal claim, to comply with a legal preservation obligation, to complete or support an investigation of suspected prohibited conduct, or to prevent fraud or abuse. Where that applies, Fireworks Bible will retain only what is necessary for that purpose and will delete it when the purpose ends.
8.4 Closing your account ends your access to the catalog. It does not, and cannot, recall or delete catalog content that has already been delivered to your device.
9. Your Privacy Rights
9.1 Depending on where you live, you may have some or all of the following rights:
(a) to confirm whether Fireworks Bible processes personal information about you, and to access that information;
(b) to receive a copy of your personal information in a portable format;
(c) to correct inaccurate personal information;
(d) to delete personal information about you;
(e) to opt out of the sale of personal information, of sharing for cross-context behavioral advertising, and of profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects. Fireworks Bible does not sell or share personal information;
(f) to limit the use of sensitive personal information. Fireworks Bible does not use sensitive personal information for any purpose that requires this right to be offered; and
(g) not to be discriminated against for exercising any of these rights. Fireworks Bible will not deny you the Service, charge you a different price, or provide a different level of service because you exercised a privacy right.
9.2 To exercise a right, contact Fireworks Bible at the address in Section 17. Fireworks Bible will verify your request by confirming control of the email address associated with your account, and may request additional information where the request concerns sensitive or high risk information.
9.3 An authorized agent may submit a request on your behalf with written proof of authorization. Fireworks Bible may require you to verify your identity directly.
9.4 Fireworks Bible will respond within the period required by applicable law, generally forty five days, and may extend that period where the law permits, with notice to you.
9.5 Exceptions. Applicable law permits Fireworks Bible to decline part or all of a request in defined circumstances. In particular, Fireworks Bible will not delete or stop processing information where retaining or processing it is reasonably necessary to:
(a) establish, exercise, prepare for or defend a legal claim;
(b) detect, investigate or act on security incidents, prohibited conduct, fraud or illegal activity, or to prosecute those responsible;
(c) comply with a legal obligation or a legal preservation obligation;
(d) complete a transaction, provide a service you requested, or perform a contract with you; or
(e) exercise another right permitted by law.
9.6 Request and usage records, authentication records, suspension records, and provenance and export records are retained as enforcement evidence and are within the exceptions in Section 9.5. A deletion request will not remove them while they remain necessary for those purposes. Fireworks Bible will tell you when it declines a request and will state the basis.
9.7 Content you contributed that has been published as part of the catalog will remain in the catalog after your account is deleted, in accordance with the license you granted in the Terms of Use. Fireworks Bible will disassociate that content from your account and from your identity on request where it is reasonably able to do so.
9.8 Appeals. If Fireworks Bible declines your request, you may appeal by replying to its decision or by writing to the address in Section 17 with the word Appeal in the subject line. Fireworks Bible will review the appeal and respond within the period required by applicable law, generally forty five or sixty days depending on your state, and will explain its reasons. If your appeal is denied, you may contact the attorney general of your state.
10. California Residents
10.1 This Section supplements the rest of this Policy for California residents and is provided under the California Consumer Privacy Act as amended.
10.2 In the twelve months preceding the effective date of this Policy, Fireworks Bible collected the following categories of personal information: identifiers, including name, email address, account identifier and internet protocol address; commercial information, including subscription and purchase records and products in which you showed interest; internet and network activity, including request records, usage, device and browser information; audio, electronic and visual information, in the form of photographs, videos and audio you submit; and inferences drawn from that information, in the form of product and store preferences. The sources, purposes and disclosures for each category are described in Sections 3, 4 and 6.
10.3 Fireworks Bible does not collect or process sensitive personal information for the purpose of inferring characteristics about you.
10.4 Fireworks Bible has not sold personal information, and has not shared personal information for cross-context behavioral advertising, in the twelve months preceding the effective date of this Policy, and does not do so.
10.5 California residents may exercise the rights described in Section 9 by the methods described in Section 9.
10.6 Fireworks Bible discloses personal information to service providers and contractors for the business purposes described in Section 6.
11. Other State Privacy Rights
11.1 Residents of states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws, including Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon, Montana, Delaware, New Jersey, New Hampshire, Nebraska, Iowa, Indiana, Tennessee, Kentucky, Rhode Island, Minnesota and Maryland, have the rights described in Section 9 to the extent their state law provides them, and may appeal a denial as described in Section 9.8.
11.2 Fireworks Bible does not process personal information for targeted advertising, does not sell personal information, and does not engage in profiling in furtherance of decisions producing legal or similarly significant effects other than the security and enforcement processing described in Section 5, which is permitted without an opt-out right.
11.3 Fireworks Bible does not require consent to process sensitive data because it does not seek to collect sensitive data. Do not submit sensitive data through the Service.
12. Security
12.1 Fireworks Bible maintains administrative, technical and physical safeguards designed to protect personal information, including encryption of data in transit, access controls, authentication through one time codes, rate limiting, logging, secret management, and periodic review of access.
12.2 No method of transmission or storage is completely secure. Fireworks Bible cannot guarantee the security of personal information.
12.3 You are responsible for maintaining control of the email address associated with your account and for not sharing your access. Notify Fireworks Bible promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
12.4 If a breach of security affecting your personal information occurs, Fireworks Bible will notify you and the appropriate authorities as and when applicable law requires.
13. Third Party Content and Links
13.1 The Service displays content hosted by third parties, including video hosted by YouTube, and links to retailer and manufacturer websites. Those third parties may collect information about you when you view or interact with their content, under their own privacy policies.
13.2 Fireworks Bible does not control and is not responsible for the privacy practices of any third party. Review the privacy policy of any third party site or service you visit.
14. Marketing Communications
14.1 You may unsubscribe from marketing email at any time using the link in the message or by contacting Fireworks Bible at the address in Section 17.
14.2 You cannot unsubscribe from service messages, including messages about your account, billing, security and changes to our terms, while you hold an account.
15. Do Not Track
The Service does not respond to browser Do Not Track signals, because no common standard for them has been adopted. Section 7.4 describes how Fireworks Bible treats the Global Privacy Control signal.
16. Changes to This Policy
16.1 Fireworks Bible may update this Policy. When it does, it will post the updated Policy with a new effective date.
16.2 If a change materially affects how Fireworks Bible uses personal information already collected, it will provide advance notice by email to the address associated with your account and in the Service, and will obtain your consent where applicable law requires it.
16.3 Fireworks Bible retains each published version of this Policy and will provide a prior version on request.
